It is a totally legitimate and fair way to remove negative comments and it’s worth the time and effort. One of the three performance categories on Amazon is Order Defect Rate. What we want is to keep an ideal below 1%. Because that has a direct effect on our account health, which we need to maintain.
The order defect rate is affected by three things:
- Chargeback requests. A buyer can dispute a purchase charged to his credit card with his bank. It can affect you negatively unless you can show your side of the case.
- AZ warranty claims. A buyer can make a claim that something in the order is wrong and that they must get their money back or a replacement of the product.
